Thank you for visiting SHIP at the Fair!

Rice County Public Health would like to say “Thank You” to all who visited our booth this year at the 2010 Rice County Fair.  We hoped to encourage physical activity and better health by playing our basketball game and winning a mini basketball, football, or jump rope.  Summer is a great time to get out there and be active.  A breastfeeding/diaper changing area, hand sanitizing stations and hand washing packets were also provided to promote good hygiene.  This year’s Public Health booth was supported by the Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP) and the Child and Teen CheckUps Program (CTC).  Thank you to UCare, Medica and Fit For Life by Sheila Rolling for their donations and support.  And congratulations to all of our winners this year…  Elishia Cooper, Stephanie Werner, Jocelyn Lansing, Alicia Mansfield, Stacy Endriss, Marianne Resendiz, Brenda Schrieber, Sandy Mann, Gina Neuhaus, Dona Hummel, Chrissy Trump, Martha LaVoi, Crystal Peterson, Goldie Sorbel, Melody Vanhoudt, Shara Larsen, Adrienne Swartwoudt and Melissa Blandin.
